AnswerMe for iPhone app for iPhone and iPad

AnswerMe is a novelty messaging app that allows you to send your friends images or text which is protected by a riddle or question. They will only be able to view the message when they have correctly answered the question you specified.

If theres something you would like to tell someone that only they should know or see, send it to them protected with a question that only they will know the answer to! Get questioning :)


Permissions that AnswerMe asks for:

Push Notifications: So that we can notify you about new messages!

Contacts: This allows you to easily message your friends using the app. We DO NOT store your contacts on our servers. This is an optional permission and the app can be used even without it.

Photo Library/Camera: To allow you to send pictures with your messages


Privacy Policy:

Your phone number is stored as your username and will not be used to contact you with promotional material. It is only used to send you a confirmation code to complete the login process and to allow your friends to your on the app.

The app asks for access to your contacts but does not require it. Access to contacts allows the app to find your friends who are using the app. The contacts are not stored permanently on any servers. They are sent to the server for comparison securely using HTTPS. They are only stored locally within the app and will be deleted with the apps data. This data is also cleared on logout.

Your messages and attached images are not stored permanently on the server. They are deleted from the server when they have been downloaded to the recipients device.

None of the your data is publicly available and will not be made available to third parties.

The app should not be used by anyone under 18 years of age.
